   ILLUSTRATION

Dnevi Poezije in Vina (Eng.: Days of Poetry and Wine) is a renowned cultural festival in Slovenia, taking place every August in Ptuj and various surrounding locations. the festival celebrates creative minds, literature, and the spoken word.

each year, the festival’s key visual is reimagined and adapted by a different artist. during my internship at Studio Trampolin in Maribor, I had the honor to contribute to this years visual identity by creating a new illustration.

the illustration is inspired by the city of Ptuj and the Drava River, with its surrounding wildlife and vineyards. included are ancient elements to build a bridge to the city’s historical heritage and an amphora in the center of the illustration, symbolizing the human heart.
